These e-mail messages are replete with profanity, personal attacks against staff members and their families, sexual proposals, racist innuendo, vulgar descriptions of your sexual prowess, explicit details of your bodily functions, demeaning sexist descriptions, and bizarre ramblings of what can only be assumed are fantasy actions alleged to have been engaged in by Department employees or their family members.</div> <bR> <div> The nature of these messages damages the efficient operation of the facility, hampers employees in the performance of their duties, lowers employee morale, and has the potential for jeopardizing the safety and security of this facility. Therefore, as an employee of the Department of Correction, you are hereby ordered to cease and desist from sending any communications to Department employees of a profane, sexually explicit, defamatory, or grossly offensive nature. If we find that you have communicated with a Department employee in such a manner, you will be disciplined. Sanctions for such an infraction may range to possible termination.</div> <bR> <div> In the event personal or professional events are causing you distress, please be advised that the EASY program has resources available to assist you.
